You can control Tomato Ritual with system-wide keyboard shortcuts:
| Shortcut | Action |
|---|---|
| โ + โง + P | Start / Pause timer |
| โ + โง + R | Reset current phase countdown |
| โ + โง + S | Skip current phase (advance to next) |
| Esc (during break) | Dismiss or skip full-screen break overlay |
When your focus countdown completes and break time begins, Tomato Ritual gently presents a translucent frosted-glass overlay across all connected monitors with a breathing ring and health tips. You can exit anytime by clicking "Skip" or pressing the Esc key.
Right-click your macOS desktop, choose Edit Widgets, search for Tomato Ritual, and drag the widget to your desired desktop or notification center location. Make sure Tomato Ritual has been launched at least once so the widget can receive local timer status.
No. Tomato Ritual is completely offline and does not require an account. All your daily stats and session histories are stored locally on your Mac.
Closing the main window will not terminate the app; Tomato Ritual stays alive quietly in your macOS menu bar with real-time countdown progress. Click the menu bar icon to show the window or toggle the floating Mini HUD.
